Damla Atik  Alpay

An Adana-based interior architect and visual artist. She produces works that explore emotion, memory, and the persistence of human feelings over time, often integrating artificial intelligence into her artistic practice. Her work builds a multidisciplinary connection between perception and narrative, and is informed by Tolstoy’s understanding of art as a medium for transmitting emotion from one person to another.

 

Her portraits are often genderless, emerging from imagined inner worlds and narratives. Through expression, color, and composition, she explores the tension between what is seen and what is felt.
